Here Are The Annual Comparison Shopping Engine (CSE) Rate Increases for 2015?

It’s that time of year again when the shopping networks release their annual holiday CPC rate increases. After a crazy year of consolidation, some of the remaining channels have announced their typical rate increases.

We have again assembled a breakdown of what to expect from the major networks and for how long. It’s important during the holidays to make sure you monitor your campaigns, as the traffic and daily spends will increase.

NexTag

Holiday Rate Card Dates: October 26, 2015 – January 4, 2015
Increase Amount: 25% for all categories

ebay Commerce Network Shopping.comHoliday Rate Card Dates:  November 5, 2015 – December 31, 2015
Increase Amount:
• 89% of the rate card will have no rate increase
• 9 main categories will increase by 15%
• 8 main categories will increase by 30%
eBay Commerce Network (Shopping.com) will automatically adjust CPC bids during the holiday pricing period; therefore no required action is required on your part.

ConnexityHoliday Rate Card Dates: NONE
Increase Amount: NONE
Important Notice: Connexity, which now consists of Shopzilla, Bizrate, PriceGrabber and Become, introduced a second bidding model this year. Connexity’s new “Targeted CPC Bidding” will be an alternative way to bid in tandem with their already established “Single Rate Smart Pricing” which was first introduced two years ago.  Good news is this means NO HOLIDAY INCREASE for merchants!

 

PriceGrabberImportant Notice: Connexity has acquired PriceGrabber. As of the end of October all bidding for PriceGrabber will be controlled via the Connexity platform and adhere to Connexity’s Single Rate CPC or Targeted CPC rates.

 

Amazon Product Ads LogoImportant Notice: Amazon ended the Amazon Product Ads program at the end of October.

 

BecomeImportant Notice: Connexity has acquired Become. All bidding for Become will be controlled via the Connexity platform and adhere to Connexity’s Single Rate CPC or Targeted CPC rates.
